The TRPG remit extends beyond matters of Planning Developments and actively encompasses Rural Protection. Accordingly, the Heritage Officer successfully lobbied English Heritage to recommend an amendment to the Schedule of Monuments. The Secretary of State for Culture, Media and Sport agreed to the amendment, 29th August, 2014. Now included in the Schedule is Offa's Dyke section 170m south-east of Fron and 380m west of Pottery Cottages to the north of Trefonen.
That was a significant "big win" for TRPG and its Heritage Officer!
